As a fresh food, Tyson couldn’t obtain customers only by promoters yelling sell, which even couldn’t show Tyson’s quality. Free Tasting allows consumers to have an experience of tasting directly. Listening to the product introduction while tasting made the consumers feel close to the brand, increasing trust and sales volume.

The regular promotion used weekend time to hold in-store free tasting activities, cooking before the consumers, encouraging them to have a taste and purchase.
We suggested promoters to have a nice sample display in the free tasting activities, which would make the consumers enjoy the eating time, watching the complete state of the products, so that we could attract more people.

We chose some high sales volume stores to hold the cooking activities, inviting 1 professional host, 1chef and 2 temporary promoters, introducing products and stimulating consumers with the mechanism of buy and gift. Consumers could watch the brilliant dish putting of professional chef and taste the delicious foods. Sometime the chef would teach them how to cook the simple and delicious Tyson chicken, which would attract more and more customers.
Cooking activities were highly welcomed by the consumers. They were attracted by the mode of “Buy + Gift”. The average sales of each activity is about 500 tons, reaching at the top of 2,200 tons, which is 5 times to the normal one.
